Marv's Hazelnut Brew Moonshine

I'M GUESSING DAD WAS ABOUT 19 HERE.
For those who don't know, Marv is my dad, and in fact my first name is also Marvin. Not many people call me that though, pretty much only my close friends. My parents divorced when I was about 4 and Dad and I moved to a rental house they had together out in Philomath. I started Kindergarten here and would end up graduating here. For most of my childhood it was just Dad and I, in a way he was my rock, and my everything in life since I only was able to see my mom every other weekend. From a young age he was very adamant about teaching me everything he knew. Considering he is one of the smartest people I know, I really wish I would've taken more time to learn. We worked together, we remodeled houses together, we painted, we worked on cars, we laughed, we cried, and so on. He was a strict father with an odd sense of humor which made all the discipline worth it. However, like most boys, the story changed for us when I got to high school. We didn't see eye to eye, and most of the time I thought he was an idiot, of course right. But when I graduated high school I made the best decision of my life, I joined the Marine Corp. When I returned home after my 4 year tour things changed for him and I. It was the first time we both realized I had become a man, which is what my dad trying to teach me all along. Things are great between him and I now, but on occasion I look back and regret being that pain-in-the-butt kid. I appreciate everything you've done for me dad, and I appreciate the man I've become because of you. Thank you Dad. Biah's Spicy Cinnamon Moonshine

A SNAPSHOT OF OUR EARLY 20's. HAHA.
It all started when I had just got back home from the Marine Corp and Toby had this ridiculous 1970's Blue Chevy pickup lifted to the sky that caught my attention. I ended up driving it one time, and I never did that again because it was impossible to keep on the road. After that we moved on to playing music together, he played guitar and I played fiddle. Then we just drank, and made a ton of memories. We have a group of friends that have been together a long time and we went through a phase where we would prank whose house we would drank at. Example, one time we had thrown a kids swimming pools along with beer boxes and beer cans on a roof, I had every picture and every painting in the house turned upside down, but we got Toby the best. His parents had a great house just out Philomath and they had left for the weekend, so we got the idea to gather every beer cap and beer can top and throw them into the shoes on a shoe rack in the garage. His parents came back and the house was spotless, problem solved right....well his dad had to go to work Monday morning. He comes in and says "hey toby, you have a party this weekend"? Toby: "No way dad, we just hung out and chilled". His dad proceeded to dump out around 100 tops. Lol. I still laugh about that to this day. Toby has always been great for a good laugh, and we've had a lot of them over the years. For more great articles about our Moonshine, Flavored Moonshine and product stories, visit our website.

Dale's Butterscotch Moonshine

Go Beavs!
His name is actually Kevin, but I haven't called him that in years. Dale and I first met in Kindergarten, and growing up in a small town I have been very fortunate to still have contact with a number of people that I met in Kindergarten and grew up with. If I remember right, Dale first came over to stay the night in first grade and it didn't go well. I had a super ball that I used to throw around the house, well it ended up freaking him out a little, and on top of that my brothers were being bullies that night. Dale called his Dad to come get him but his dad said no way, you need to stick it out the whole night. After he freaked out we decided to play board games and calm down a little, and the rest would be history. Another memory I have about Dale is in high school he used to wear one of those jean jackets with the wool liner and he would always have a Pepsi in each pocket. He sure did love his Pepsi, now I don't even think he drinks it anymore, he drinks coke. Haha.Whether we were drinking beers, riding motorcycles, playing mechanic, building stereos, blaming me for the cat throwing up, hot-dogging the neighbor’s house, egging, building fires that almost kill us, gold prospecting, and on and on, he's always been one of my best friends. He's one of the most honest and genuine people that I know. Thanks for always being my friend buddy, and cheers to many more awesome years.
